Description of the position The position is based at the Department of Biology, Division of Functional Ecology, where a research group specializing in fish ecology forms the immediate scientific environment. The division consists of approximately 65 employees with broad and diverse expertise and varying research orientations. The international research group comprises around ten researchers with expertise in evolutionary biology, ecology, and conservation biology, with a particular focus on fish and fish populations. The PhD position is located at Lund University, while the international research group's network creates opportunities to conduct parts of the research project in collaboration with other universities. The work environment is characterized by openness, collaboration, and dynamism, which provides excellent conditions for scientific exchange and interdisciplinary contacts within a broad spectrum of biological research questions.
