You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital care appointments, and at the clinic. The work consists of both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up on patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues on the unit and across professions in the team, as well as with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with health center management, you are responsible for developing and advancing the operation. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also part of your role at the health center. About You You are a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is desirable if you have diabetes training of at least 15 credits and/or experience working with diabetes patients, or if you have an interest in pursuing diabetes training. It is also desirable if you have experience from primary care work and/or have mentor training of 7.5 credits. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are thorough, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks. In this role you meet many patients, so it is important that you are approachable, attentive, and have a willingness to help others. We also believe you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You communicate well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and clinic visits. We would like to see that you have an interest in digitalization and business development. A professional approach and good conduct toward customers, patients, and colleagues are essential for you. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a telephone interview. The recruiting manager then makes a second selection of applicants and invites them to an interview at the health center. We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe situations as concretely as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this helps us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
