Skutskärs Health Center Our 1,800 employees work with close-proximity care and health services in Uppsala County. We offer a broad range of services within primary healthcare. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or receive habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services. We are now offering a full-time permanent position, with a start date by agreement. This includes assessing and helping patients through telephone advice and via our e-services, as well as in direct contact during scheduled clinic visits. You will work closely with other professionals at the health center. Our broad patient base means you will meet everyone from young families with children and students to older citizens. This makes the work here both varied and stimulating. Your Qualifications We are looking for a district nurse, and it is an advantage if you have previous experience working in primary healthcare. The position requires good teamwork skills and the ability to work well in a team, as well as the capacity for independent work. As a person, you are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently, and to be successful in this role, you must be flexible in your approach. You communicate clearly and can easily build rapport with patients, relatives, and colleagues. It is important that you have the desire to develop the services together with your colleagues at the unit. As some home visits are part of the role, a driver's license (Class B) is required. Our Operations Skutskärs Health Center is located a five-minute walk from the train station and is easy to commute to from both Gävle (17 km) and Uppsala (9 mil). We have 9,000 registered patients and 38 employees. All professional disciplines are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the health center's mandate.
