Gränbystadens Health Center Our 1,800 employees work in primary healthcare and health services across Uppsala County. We offer a comprehensive range of services within first-line healthcare. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or receive habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Welcome to Gränbystadens Health Center! We are looking for a district nurse to join our child health services (BVC) clinic. We offer a temporary position at 50-80% as one of our BVC nurses goes on parental leave. Start date by agreement. In addition to your individual development plan, we offer regular training days for professional development. This means you'll be part of a large network with knowledgeable colleagues. About Our Operations The health center is part of the Primary Care and Health administration at Region Uppsala. In the rapidly growing area around Gränby centrum, our health center enjoys good public transportation, parking options, and nearby shops and services. We are 45 employees who together provide most primary healthcare services, and everyone at the health center works to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. Rasbo Health Center is our branch. At Gränbystadens Health Center, the child and family are always our focus. Working with dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues, you will be part of the BVC team and collaborate closely with doctors, psychosocial teams, midwifery services, and dietitians. Your Role In child health services, you work with a holistic perspective with the child's health at the center. You provide active support to parents to strengthen their parenting role. You meet children and families both individually, according to each family's needs, and in group activities. In your role, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse ways—from clinic consultations, home visits, parent groups, health promotion and parental support conversations, phone advice, and vaccinations, in accordance with child health service guidelines. Your Qualifications We are looking for a licensed district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary healthcare and child health services. As a person, you are positive, have a flexible work approach and strong ability to collaborate with team members, while being experienced and driven to work independently.
