We are seeking a district nurse or experienced registered nurse for Rud Health Center in Karlstad! Your Workplace At Rud Health Center in Karlstad, six nurses, eleven physicians, two nursing assistants, a foot care therapist, a psychologist, a healthcare social worker, and five healthcare administrators work together. Together we care for approximately 8,800 registered patients who have their designated primary physician with us. We operate a nurse clinic for heart failure, diabetes, asthma/COPD, dementia, and incontinence, among other conditions. Our psychosocial team consists of a psychologist and social worker. We work with the patient at the center and value high professionalism and commitment. Rud Health Center is well-staffed with permanent personnel and accepts nursing, specialist nursing, and medical students for clinical practice, as well as trains resident physicians. We offer a stimulating work environment with a good social climate where both independent work and teamwork are central components. We are now seeking a person for a temporary position through August 2027, with possible extension through spring 2028. Your Responsibilities We can offer both varied clinic work and telephone advice with independent responsibility, as well as good and close collaboration with various professions. We have a positive attitude toward new ideas and working methods. We work in teams to create good continuity for our patients. Collaboration with other care providers such as municipal services, relatives, and inpatient care is important to us and part of our daily work. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone with Swedish nursing licensure and a specialist nurse degree with a focus on district nursing, or alternatively an experienced general registered nurse. Experience working at a health center, in telephone advice, and in clinic work is advantageous. Education in or experience working with diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, or dementia is advantageous. To fit our team, you are responsible, initiative-taking, and structured.
