Job Responsibilities In your role as a district nurse, you will be responsible for overall healthcare work in the municipality's operations, working closely with nursing assistants, care aides, rehabilitation staff, supervisors, and others. Your tasks will include medical interventions, prescriptions, preventive measures, and documentation work. You will also advise and mentor other nursing staff and drive development work forward within the healthcare sector. An important part of your work is to promote and ensure that as much of the nursing care as possible is salutogenic and preventive. Since your work is often conducted in our citizens' homes, you play a vital role in maintaining trustful relationships with both patients and their families. This position includes responsibility for work in Svenstavik and Svenstavik's home care area. Day shifts and approximately every sixth weekend. Qualifications We're looking for you who are a trained nurse with further education as a district nurse, or alternatively have completed other education that the employer deems equivalent. If you also have additional specialist/further education in diabetes, we consider that a merit. Previous experience working as a nurse is required, and if you additionally have experience as a district nurse, that is a merit. You need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a driver's license for a car (category B). Bergs kommun is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it a merit if you have knowledge of South Sámi language and culture.
