Our Offer Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Finspång Healthcare Center, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and a General Medicine Training Center. Ödeshög Health Center currently has approximately 4,600 registered patients and is the sole health center in the area. The health center has physician consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nurse consultations, child health care, psychosocial services, foot care, and a laboratory. We also manage an elderly care facility. In order to create equal care throughout the region, there is currently a salary supplement available and the possibility to work part-time. Job Description We are looking for a specialist in general medicine for our physician consultations. The position includes regular consultation work within the primary care assignment such as physician consultations, child health care, and consultation with home care services and special accommodations. To some extent, the scope and distribution of these assignments can be tailored to your individual interests. You will participate in on-call services, both shared primary care on-call at the on-call center and as a backup on-call physician. Part of your working time will be spent mentoring less experienced colleagues such as AT/ST physicians and medical students. This occurs during specially allocated time in the schedule. Work Team We are approximately 19 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work environment. The physician consultation consists currently of three specialists in general medicine and one ST physician. About You You are a specialist in general medicine and have previous experience working in primary care. You hold a Swedish medical license (to be attached with your application) and have Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish C1 level. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, family members, colleagues, and other organizations, it is a requirement that you have very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. As a person, you are confident, have good collaboration skills with the rest of the team, are efficient, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and enjoy teamwork. You are unpretentious and communicate clearly. We value that you are committed to business development and that you have social competence and can meet different people according to their needs.
