About the Operation
We're looking for a district doctor at Ludvika Health Center! We offer a welcoming workplace with engaged and positive colleagues.
Ludvika Municipality is located in Västerbergsslagen in southern Dalarna, beside Lake Väsman. There are plenty of scenic hiking areas, beautiful lakes for summer swimming or winter ice skating, and good connections to major cities. Ludvika Health Center has just over 15,000 registered patients and is one of two region-operated health centers in Ludvika Municipality. The health center has a large team of approximately 70 employees in various professions: Specialists in general medicine, doctors in specialist training, doctors in general practice training, doctors in occupational medicine training, resident doctors, district nurses, nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinator, care coordinators, and doctor's secretaries.
The health center is located at Ludvika Hospital, which today is not an emergency hospital; the nearest emergency room is in Falun. The hospital has an urgent care center.

Job Duties
As a district doctor at Ludvika Health Center, you'll work on scheduled and acute clinic appointments. You'll meet people of all ages, which means you independently receive, assess, and treat a broad spectrum of patients with varying diagnoses. You'll also mentor doctors in training. There's an opportunity to work at the child health center. Work takes place at the health center but in some cases also in patients' homes.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Specialist doctor in general medicine with valid medical license and specialist certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare
Excellent Swedish language skills, spoken and written
Personal Qualities:
You're attentive and have excellent interpersonal skills. You thrive with teamwork and collaboration with colleagues and other partners in the work is self-evident to you.
