Tierp Health Center Our 1800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services in primary healthcare. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or through rehabilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Your Assignment With us, you will have varied and stimulating work in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. We are a large, stable, and experienced physician group with several specialists and ST physicians. This means excellent collegial support and close daily collaboration. We have a structured approach and a very positive atmosphere in our teams with a medical meeting every week. Your tasks include clinic work with scheduled visits; we have a clear booking structure and you manage your own schedule. Clinical work is varied with acute visits, digital work from home, home visits, and assisting colleagues and students with your knowledge, as well as opportunities to mentor students and AT/ST physicians. You have the opportunity to develop your own work methods, and there are good opportunities for professional development. According to your preferences, we also have assignments in mental health, child health, occupational health, and nursing home care. As a health center, we are the region's largest with all possible resources (ultrasound, in-house X-ray/CT, large lab, proximity to NÄVE and emergency clinic work, etc.). As a district physician within Region Uppsala, you will also work at our emergency clinics and in on-call line services. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish licensure and strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You see the challenge and joy in following your patients through all ages of life. As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently. To be successful in this role, you must be flexible in your approach. Your collaborative skills and willingness to contribute to the development of our operations will be valuable to you here. Our Operations Tierp Health Center is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting options. From Uppsala, trains and buses depart every half hour during rush hours. The health center is a short walk from the station. We have approximately 19,400 registered patients and about 100 employees who work in teams providing all services within the health center's mission, including the emergency clinic. Our patients range from young to elderly and live in Tierp and the surrounding rural areas. The health center is part of the Primary Care and Health Division at Region Uppsala.
