District Physician at Mikaeli Health Center

At Mikaeli Health Center, you'll become part of a dedicated team where continuity, job satisfaction, and professional development are integral parts of everyday work. Mikaeli Health Center is located in western Örebro and is a well-functioning unit with approximately 8,100 registered patients. Here you'll encounter a diverse patient population that provides both breadth and depth in medical work. In the surrounding area, there is also a residential care facility (SÄBO) with 53 beds and well-functioning collaboration within home healthcare services with approximately 70 enrolled patients. The health center offers a complete range of services including asthma/COPD, diabetes and wellness clinics, physiotherapy, maternal health clinic (MVC), care coordinators, and a psychosocial team with rehabilitation coordinator, social worker, and psychologist. A family center with child health services (BVC) is located in close proximity. Duties As a district physician with us, you'll have a varied role within primary healthcare. You'll work with your own practice where you see both scheduled and acute patients of all ages, addressing a broad spectrum of medical issues. You'll work in an environment with short decision-making processes and close management, which provides good opportunities to influence your workday and the direction of the operation. Qualifications Specialist physician in general medicine, or alternatively a physician in the final stages of specialist training (ST). Good knowledge of Swedish language corresponding to at least level C1. Good organizational skills and interest in administrative work are meriting. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, you are confident in your professional role and have a strong ability to work independently while valuing teamwork.
