We are a well-functioning healthcare center with permanent doctors and various specialist clinics. All registered patients have a designated primary care doctor. With us, you'll enjoy excellent working conditions. We are located in pleasant premises centrally in Värnamo. The facility has approximately 7,700 registered patients. Working as a general practitioner at our clinic involves assessment and treatment of patients. We work systematically and structured with the goal of always offering our patients the best care. Visits can be both scheduled and acute. The role includes supervising medical students and junior doctors (AT-/ST doctors), as an important part of our mission is to educate tomorrow's healthcare personnel. The work also includes on-call duties at the nearby emergency clinic or on-call duty from home. With us, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the clinic and you will be an important part of ongoing improvement work and development of the facility. Our staff consists of 3 permanent district doctors and 4 ST doctors. We have occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, physiotherapists, and talk therapists. We have well-developed collaboration between doctors and rehabilitation. We are a dedicated group who appreciate humor and enjoy having fun at work. We are looking for someone who is a qualified specialist in general medicine and has experience working in primary care. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to view the facility from a holistic perspective with both the patient and the clinic in focus. You are stable, flexible, and adaptable to different situations and you work well collaboratively. You need to have good communication skills in order to build positive relationships with both patients and colleagues. As a person, you are attentive to our patients' needs and your approach is professional and respectful. It is advantageous if you have experience and/or interest in supervising junior doctors (AT and ST doctors), as this is part of the job responsibilities as well as overseeing a special care facility.
