We take responsibility for equitable welfare and for ensuring that research and innovation produce results. Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local care areas. The Skellefteå Local Care Area includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö.
