The political leadership has tasked Bra Liv Health Centers with investing in selected health centers in the region, with the main aim of reaching the target of 1100 listed patients per full-time general practitioner, (550 per full-time resident physician). The hope is to achieve synergy effects including equitable care for residents, increased attraction to work in primary care, improved working environment, and a long-term reduced need for locum physicians at selected health centers.
Vaggeryd Health Center is one of the selected health centers! All our physicians here will work according to the new patient list targets going forward. We therefore now have the pleasure of recruiting a general practitioner with these new conditions. Furthermore, excellent opportunities for professional development, good supervision, and scheduled collegial support at our physician meetings will be provided. Vaggeryd Health Center will also start a collaboration this year with a so-called Twin Health Center in the region for mutual support and experience exchange. In your position, you will have allocated time at your disposal for self-directed patient care and development work.
The Role of District Physician
As a district physician at Bra Liv Vaggeryd Health Center, you are offered an independent position where you have the opportunity to influence your work. The work is varied with scheduled and acute patient visits, supervision of trainee physicians, collaboration with home care services, and the opportunity to work at the municipality's special housing facilities and/or child health services. Furthermore, we offer you engaging and exciting work close to the public with many contact points where your expertise is valued and stimulated. On-call duty and emergency on-call service at Närakuten are included in the position.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Has experience as a district physician as you will help shape the development of our physician team and other operations. You will play a central role in this.
• Has experience supervising trainee physicians and other professions at the health center.
• Can work independently and with various professional groups.
• Is dedicated and responsible and understands the importance of good patient interaction.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve operations together with us.
• Takes on new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and functions as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, interaction, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Holds a Class B driver's license
• Through good cooperation with management and colleagues, wants to contribute to creating participation and a good working environment.
