This means that as a district nurse/registered nurse, you also have the opportunity to provide advice and/or refer the patient to another level of care at another appropriate time. Patients with concerns that you do not assess to require physician contact during urgent/emergency hours can you: - Refer to another care unit at another appropriate time - Provide advice on self-care with written information - Complete treatment of the patient About the Workplace The 11 region-operated primary care centers and their urgent care centers in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with its own board and Region Västmanland as owner. Operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland and together we work to provide accessible and quality primary care throughout the region. The Primary Care Urgent Care Center in Västerås provides first-line care as well as specialized care for patients of all ages. The urgent care center in Västerås is part of primary care emergency operations and operates on weekdays from 17:00-21:00 and on weekends and holidays from 09:00-21:00. Patients must have a scheduled appointment at the urgent care center. The urgent care center is located at entrance 37 in connection with the Emergency Department in Västerås. Primary care experience is a merit for the position. You are fluent in Swedish both spoken and written and you have experience with the Cosmic medical record system. We are looking for you who are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. It is important that you are confident and stable in your nursing role and take responsibility for your tasks. You listen and collaborate well with others and take responsibility for what you do. Teamwork means that we help each other, communicate, and continuously develop our competence together. You have the ability to take this into account when decisions are made and actions are chosen. We place great importance on personal suitability.
