Sunne Health Center is located in the heart of Värmland and is a well-functioning health center with experienced and committed staff. We have approximately 12,500 registered patients and about 40 employees. The operation has stable staffing and is conducted without temporary staff. At the health center, we offer our patients, among other services, physician consultations, diabetes clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, hypertension clinic, district nurse clinic, nurse clinic, assistant nurse clinic, drop-in clinic, counseling clinic, CBT, psychologist, rehabilitation coordinator, and laboratory. At the health center, different professionals work together in teams to provide our patients with quality care. We have good and close contact between our different professional disciplines, which is an important part of our operation. The health center is led by two unit managers. Together with inpatient care and municipalities, we work toward seamless care for our shared patients. We are now seeking a substitute district nurse who wants to work together with experienced district physicians, educational physicians, district nurses, registered nurses, assistant nurses, healthcare administrators, CBT therapists, and a psychologist. Your Responsibilities As a district nurse/registered nurse with us, you have varied tasks such as telephone advice, scheduled clinic work, as well as triage and care of acute patients. We also have specialty clinics in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure. We view further education in any of these areas positively. If you do not have previous experience working at a health center, we will also plan an individual introduction with good support. This position is a temporary contract of approximately six months with good opportunities for permanent employment. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are seeking someone who is a licensed district nurse or registered nurse. Further education in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure is advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You are confident in your professional role, have good interpersonal skills, and enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with others. You are flexible and can adapt to the needs of the operation and changing circumstances. With a structured work approach, you plan and prioritize your work while maintaining an overview and focusing on the patient's needs.
