Our ambition is to provide good care at a high medical level with a focus on patient safety and quality. Welcome to Råsunda Health Center! We are located in the heart of charming Råsunda, near Solna centrum with excellent transportation connections via subway, commuter train, and light rail. We have approximately 9,000 registered patients and offer primary care every weekday. We serve a relatively large proportion of elderly patients who have lived in Råsunda for many years, as well as a younger, more recently relocated and often well-educated population. We have a well-functioning home care nursing team. We strive to work in a team with physicians, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, psychologist, social worker, and administrative staff to create good continuity for our patients. You can read more about our benefits at Förmåner hos Stockholms läns sjukvårdsområde Job Responsibilities The position involves all tasks associated with district nursing/registered nursing in home care and at health centers/clinics. The work requires broad competence, planning ability and independence. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Licensed Registered Nurse Desirable: Specialist qualification in diabetes care or district nurse with prescribing rights Experience working in home care, primary care is an asset Good computer skills and experience with the medical record system TakeCare, Lifecare and TeleQ is an asset Driver's license (Category B). Employment Type: Temporary/substitute position. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date by agreement. For patient-facing work in Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - a background check is conducted prior to employment decision in accordance with SLSO's general guidelines for background checks upon hiring. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination according to applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.
