About the Role You will be one of our 12 district managers overseeing 12 stores spanning from Ludvika to Sala, based in Västerås or Örebro. Your stores, your car, and your home will be your workplace. Your mission is to create sales growth and strengthen store profitability. In your role, you will inspire, motivate, and develop the store managers in your district. The goal is to increase efficiency and sales together with the store managers in line with DollarStore's procedures and guidelines. Who Are You? The role of district manager involves intense and varied working days. We're looking for someone who is well-organized, has an optimistic mindset, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Remote leadership is not unfamiliar to you, and being on the road is a prerequisite for success in the district manager role. You need to enjoy working independently, but you're never alone—you have a coach and your fellow district managers as sounding boards. The District Manager reports directly to the Sales Manager. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Ensure store budgets are established and adhered to. Proactively support and advise the district with the goal of driving sales. Ensure a good work environment for all employees. Actively participate in assortment matters and be involved in product supply on behalf of the stores. Ensure that stores meet requirements for shelf stocking and standards according to the chain's concept. Responsible for recruitment of store managers, maintaining and providing store managers with the right skills and tools. Conduct negotiations with trade unions with support from the HR department. We're Looking for You With At least 5 years of experience as a leader in retail. Experience actively working toward set sales targets. Experience leading and developing sales organizations. Good understanding of key performance indicators; experienced in analyzing and monitoring results. Business-driven and results-oriented. Pedagogical approach and ability to stay calm in stressful situations. Willingness to take initiative and innovation capability. Experience with retail agreements and basic labor law is a plus.
