In the electrical technology group, we are responsible for ensuring that the power grid functions around the clock. Our mission is to secure operations and maintenance, and when something happens, we need to act quickly and be on site to get everything running again. The group also plays an important role in developments and new construction. As you probably know, Falun is growing. We have more municipal residents, which in turn means our societally critical infrastructure needs to be expanded. At Electrical Technology, we make it possible and perform work based on what our customers need in order to live and thrive in the municipality. The industry is also in a very exciting and expansive phase. Work as a distribution electrician/electrical installer As an electrical installer, you will work within our distribution area with electrical distribution systems. The systems' voltage range is 0.4 to 24 kV, and you will also work with our 50 kV grid. Your day with us is varied, with work tasks consisting of renewal work, fault rectification, service, and maintenance – in both underground cable networks and overhead line networks. Since we work both proactively and reactively in handling any irregularities that arise, on-call service may be part of the role. As an electrical installer with us, you will work in a work team of two installers. Your colleagues have extensive experience from the electrical industry, and you will have good mutual support. For us, it's important to develop the best solutions based on quality and electrical safety. You will be part of a great group of 14 people. The group has a strong sense of community and cares for one another. There is also extensive knowledge and expertise in the group that is very useful in our varied work day with a fast pace. Your profile We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, practical, and enjoys working independently as well as in a group. To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, thorough, and have a natural ability to collaborate. Since our work tasks are sometimes physically demanding and outdoors, you should be in good physical condition and comfortable working in all kinds of weather. Furthermore, we see that you are a down-to-earth person who can stay calm in a stressful situation and is well aware of quality and the importance of working safely. If you value teamwork highly, have a strong work ethic, and an unpretentious approach to others, this is a position for you. We are looking for someone who has: • Electrician training, preferably as a distribution electrician with a few years of professional experience • Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written • Driver's license category B It is advantageous if you have: • Worked with electrical distribution networks, training in and experience working according to EBR, ESA, and high-voltage regulations.
