Your abilities build Sweden's defense In this rapid development, you as the applicant will have a critical role as a manager and leader. You have a strong focus on leadership and delivery, good ability to build and develop relationships both internally and externally, and you see responsibility as a natural part of your job. You are confident in yourself, dare to challenge existing practices, ask the right questions, and adapt solutions to the need, whether it's a tent solution or a CBRN-protected facility. The Fortification Agency is now establishing geographic area responsibilities throughout Sweden. To support rapid and high delivery capacity and technical development in highly specialized competencies, we are consolidating delivery support in a shared department consisting of approximately 200 employees. The department includes expertise in fortification, technical support, design, construction and facility support, physical planning, quality and environment, sustainability standards, and development projects. In this role, you are expected to establish, design, further develop, and decide on common working methods, process frameworks, technical and sustainability standards within production. You will be a manager of subordinate managers. Your assignment is to: initiate, lead, and coordinate development efforts within production's working methods, systems, and technical conditions provide technical and methodological support to production operations establish, manage, and govern through process ownership for production's main processes, including responsibility for process design, efficiency, and quality establish and manage governing principles, guidelines, standards, and requirements for production monitor compliance and drive continuous improvements across geographies be responsible for strategic direction, management, and coordination of buying/selling of real estate portfolios across geographies. You report to the Director General. Our headquarters is located in Eskilstuna. The position involves travel within Sweden and travel abroad may occur. Qualifications We are looking for someone with academic education that we consider relevant for the position. You have experience working in a leadership position and you are experienced in leading and achieving results through other managers. You have experience with cross-organizational work and leading technical specialists. You have documented good experience with development work and change management. You also have knowledge of information security and public administration. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, and experience using administrative support systems. A class B driver's license is required. It is a merit if you have experience working within security, defense-related environments, or government agencies. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are driven and communicative with very good strategic and analytical ability. Your leadership is characterized by clarity in goal descriptions and decisions. You can convey your messages at both management level and in operational activities. Furthermore, you are structured, have good prioritization ability, and focus on delivery. You have an easy time building and developing relationships and act professionally in your daily work. You actively contribute to the development of the agency. We need someone who can professionally balance high security awareness with a clear focus on rapidly building defense capability through vision and development. About the Employment This is a permanent position with workplace in Eskilstuna. Swedish citizenship is required and the position involves war placement and placement in a security classification.
