Within Development and Management, we work together to develop the Kalmar municipal organization through IT, quality, innovation, digitalization, and data-driven approaches – always with the goal of creating the greatest possible benefit for our residents and operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a person with extensive experience in creating conditions for learning, collaboration, development, innovation, and a strong ability to manage and engage people. It is important to also have good technical competence and experience leading projects with different stakeholder and reference groups.
As a Digitalization Leader in the Municipal Management Office's unit for digitalization and innovation, you will drive one or more of our digital assignments, all of which are part of the organization-wide, strategic digital transformation. You will work closely with our core operations, our IT unit, and external suppliers.
A large part of the position will be connected to the Culture and Recreation Department, where you will support, inspire, and challenge the operations in their work with digital development and innovation. You will be the department's representative in the municipal organization's digitalization network and steering group. Your role will be important in developing a process-oriented approach and well-developed IT support that is essential for clarifying, facilitating, and streamlining the department's work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• Bachelor's degree from a university or college, or other equivalent experience that the employer deems qualifying. For example, in technology, systems science, digitalization, or business development
• Documented experience with business development linked to digitalization in large organizations
• The ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you have:
• Documented experience in project management
• Certification in the PPS project model
• Knowledge of service design or similar innovation methods
• Professional experience from municipal, regional, or state operations
We are looking for you who are attentive, driven, and have a solution-oriented approach. You collaborate easily and communicate clearly and pedagogically. With the ability to see the bigger picture, you take responsibility for structuring your work and driving processes forward from idea to implementation. You are motivated, persistent, and ensure that projects are completed with good results.
You have good competence in needs analysis and requirements capture, and can understand both users' and operations' needs, translating these into sustainable technical solutions. You also have the ability to explain technical possibilities and limitations in an understandable way, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams where you contribute with both analysis and a holistic perspective.
The position requires that you have a very good ability to communicate results and knowledge clearly in both speech and writing.
Salary form: Monthly salary.

Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-02 According to agreement.
