The position involves conducting program activities for clients throughout the operational area. You will be stationed at a community corrections office, but may work from a different location than your colleagues and manager. You will work very independently and support other program managers with their clients. Your daily work will primarily consist of contact with clients digitally, as well as participation in assessment meetings and other meetings conducted digitally. Treatment programs are delivered with high quality and in accordance with evidence-based practice principles. They are primarily based on cognitive behavioral therapy. We use treatment programs addressing criminality, violence, substance abuse, and sexual and relationship violence. The diverse program offering means you will lead several different programs. Our program offerings consist primarily of individual programs, though group programs may occur. Although treatment programs are conducted individually, teamwork and participation in collegial supervision are a significant part of the job. The assignment includes close collaboration with the community corrections officers who manage the case, ensuring that the treatment program is integrated with other interventions provided during the client's period of supervision. The position also includes administrative duties. You are fundamentally employed as a Community Corrections Officer, which may mean you could be assigned other duties if needed. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, stable, and has good self-awareness. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and adapt your way of communicating to suit the recipient's circumstances. In your professional practice, you must exercise good judgment and integrity. As a community corrections officer, you need good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly. You should also be in good physical condition to be able to act physically if the situation requires. We are looking for someone with: An academic degree (at minimum bachelor's level) with a behavioral science focus, preferably as a behavioral scientist, social worker, criminologist, or within social sciences, or alternatively another academic education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant Driver's license (Category B) Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Good computer skills It is also advantageous to have: Well-documented work experience in correctional services, social care, psychiatry, or health and care work Experience in correctional services work Experience in investigative work Experience working with digital tools Experience working with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's target group Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to remove the personal letter and replaced it with selection questions that are relevant to the position.
