to hold acquired professional qualifications as specified in the Lithuanian Medical Norm MN 32:2021 "Dietitian" approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, including its further relevant editions and a certificate issued in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, the number of which is assigned in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, and a valid license. Functions: 1. Performs and implements duties specified in the Lithuanian Medical Norm MN 32:2021 "Dietitian" approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. 2. Collects, analyzes and critically evaluates, within the scope of his/her competence, information related to a person's state of health. 3. Assesses and reassesses a person's nutritional needs and possibilities, prescribes a nutritional diet. Carries out continuous monitoring of the population's nutrition, evaluates changes in the person's health status, within the scope of his/her competence, modifies the nutritional diet and documents it appropriately. 4. Performs and is responsible for proper and timely completion and preparation of professional procedural documents for further and/or related service provision and/or person assessment. 5. Educates, advises and provides guidance or recommendations to residents, their relatives regarding nutrition matters to the resident, team members, other specialists of the institution.
