Do you want to use your dietitian expertise to strengthen the health of children and young people? We are seeking a licensed dietitian for a project within the transition to Good and Nearby Care. In this newly established role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your specialist expertise in nutrition and diet, and be part of developing preventive and health-promoting work for children and young people. The position is a one-year project employment with the possibility of extension. Your role as a dietitian with us As a dietitian, you will provide specialist support to schools' student health services in matters concerning nutrition, diet, and eating habits. You will work both in a consultative capacity and with a development focus, emphasizing early interventions and nutrition-related challenges in children and young people. You will collaborate closely with student health medical services, school leadership and teaching staff, as well as the region's dietitians and other relevant services. Since this role is new, you will also have the opportunity to help develop work methods and collaboration in this area. Your main responsibilities are to: provide specialist support in nutrition, diet, and eating habits to student health services and school staff plan and implement educational initiatives contribute to early detection and preventive work regarding nutrition-related issues contribute expertise in areas such as selective eating, overweight, underweight, and other nutritional challenges develop collaboration between schools, student health services, and the region contribute to developing health-promoting and preventive initiatives in the school environment Your profile You have a strong interest in preventive and health-promoting work for children and young people and enjoy using your specialist expertise in collaboration with others. As a person, you are attentive and have a talent for building trusting relationships with different professional groups. You are self-directed and well-organized, take initiative, and drive your work forward. You also have good pedagogical skills and feel confident educating, mentoring, and providing consultative support to others. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who: is a licensed dietitian It is merited if you have: experience working with children and young people experience from schools, student health services, or child and youth healthcare knowledge of and experience with eating disorders, selective eating, or other nutrition-related challenges in children and young people experience in development or project work Learn more about us The Children and Student Health Unit is organized under Quality & Development and supports preschools and schools through special education, medical, and psychological expertise, as well as coordination of interventions for students' learning, health, and right to support within the administration's comprehensive children and student health mandate. Within the unit there are special education teachers and developers with various assignments as well as other functions related to the area of children and student health.
