What does the job as a Dietitian at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?
As a dietitian with us, you have a central and important role in the operations. You work both with the individual's needs and with developing approaches to nutrition, meals and the joy of food together with the team. You are also part of a multidisciplinary team and actively contribute to creating good conditions for each resident's health and well-being.
Your main responsibilities
Responsible for individualized meal planning based on needs, preferences and health status
Work to prevent and follow up on nutrition problems, for example malnutrition
Contribute to the development of menus, meal environments and working methods
Ensure that meals are:
nutritionally balanced
individualized
attractive and stimulating
Work towards a good meal environment that promotes well-being and participation
Support dietary representatives, cooks and care staff in daily work
Plan, conduct and follow up training and coaching on:
nutrition and diet
meal situations
food hygiene, self-control and other relevant guidelines
Participate in regular team meetings for planning, follow-up and development of initiatives
Participate in the facilities' health team and contribute to a holistic view of health, activity and nutrition
Contribute to and follow up implementation and health plans
Participate in quality and improvement work within the operations
Participate in as well as plan and conduct various forums where residents and relatives are given the opportunity to influence meals
About Björkbacken and Haga Ängs care homes for the elderly
Björkbacken is a care home for the elderly with 42 apartments distributed over three floors, focused on somatic care.
Haga Äng is a care home for the elderly with 62 apartments distributed over four floors, specialized in care for people with dementia and elderly psychiatry.
Both care homes have an attractive location with proximity to bus connections, walking paths, green areas and a selection of shops and restaurants – which contributes to a pleasant everyday life for both residents and staff.

We are looking for someone who is:
Licensed Dietitian
Has a great interest in elderly care and person-centered work
Enjoys working both independently and in a team
Has a pedagogical and coaching approach
Is organized and driven by developing quality in the operations
It is a merit if you have previous experience in elderly care
You need to have good knowledge of health and medical regulations
You must have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
We would like to see that you have knowledge of documenting according to ICF and KVÅ
We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations
Other information
Employment type: Permanent.
Scope: 75–100%, by agreement. At higher employment rates, certain work may be placed more towards our central functions – more information on this will be provided during the interview.
Start date: By agreement
Trial employment: we apply a 6-month trial employment period
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by presenting that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
