Now we are recruiting at Engströms Bil in Linköping an experienced diagnostic technician who wants to work with the most advanced troubleshooting in modern vehicle technology. About the role As a diagnostic technician at Engströms Bil, you are one of our technical experts and a key person in the workshop. You take over when traditional troubleshooting is no longer sufficient and work with more complex challenges within electronics, control systems, software and advanced vehicle diagnostics. You will, among other things: Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on modern vehicles Identify and resolve electrical, electronic and mechanical faults Work with diagnostic systems, software and technical documentation Ensure that repairs and technical solutions are carried out according to manufacturers' requirements Stay updated on the latest vehicle and diagnostic technology You will become part of an experienced team where knowledge sharing is a given and where we help each other find solutions even to the most challenging problems. Who are you? We believe you already work as a diagnostic technician, vehicle technician or specialist in vehicle diagnostics today and feel that you want to develop further. Or perhaps you have a background as an electrician with a strong interest in vehicles and technology. We are looking for you who have: Experience in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics Good knowledge of vehicle electronics, control systems and modern diagnostic tools Ability to analyze problems methodically and find the root cause, not just the symptoms Class B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish and English, merits if you also have knowledge of German Merit if you have previously worked with VW Group brands As a person you are curious, solution-oriented and persistent in the right way.
