About the Role As Department Manager, you are responsible for engaging and developing your team and individuals, ensuring daily operations, and driving development within your area. Operations run during day shift and shift work with approximately 20–35 employees. Our organizational philosophy is team-based, where you as a manager have a dedicated cross-functional support team to help you efficiently drive progressive improvement work within your area of responsibility. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: - Ensure operations so that customer orders are produced safely and cost-effectively, delivered on time with the right quality. - Develop both employees and processes - Drive progressive continuous improvement work - Lead, motivate, engage toward results and goals - Personnel and workplace environment responsibility - Improve productivity and efficiency - Optimize, evaluate, and develop production together with the support team Your Profile You are an engaged leader with very positive energy who is stimulated by challenges and values your employees' opinions and contributions. You are also clear in your communication and have a good ability to make decisions and delegate. Of course, you are also concerned with meeting customer needs and have high ambitions regarding quality and productivity. You have a good ability to create technical understanding, drive change with perseverance, and pedagogically create conditions for new and shared ways of working. You thrive working at a fast pace in a flexible operation. Requirement Profile We are looking for someone with several years of experience in leadership within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the chemical/plastics industry and automation. You believe in modern leadership with people at the center. We see that you have relevant technical education or equivalent knowledge that we deem equivalent. To succeed, you need experience in resource planning, improvement work, planning and ERP systems, preferably M3. Digitalization and IT are a natural part of your competence. Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, is a requirement. We value your personal qualities and your potential to develop with us.
