The Role As a DevOps Engineer at Memlist, you'll work closely with development and product teams to build and improve our technical infrastructure. You'll be working with automation, deployment, servers, containers, monitoring, security, and scalability. We want to make it easy to go from code to production—without compromising on stability or security. You'll be doing things like: automating deployment, provisioning, and recurring operational tasks working with and further developing our Linux-based infrastructure building and maintaining Docker solutions writing automation and tools in Bash and Python working with Ansible for configuration and automation developing and optimizing solutions with Cloudflare Workers improving CI/CD flows and our internal developer tools working with logging, monitoring, performance, and troubleshooting contributing to high availability, security, and scalability identifying what should be automated—and then automating it We're Looking for You If You're technically curious and enjoy understanding how systems actually work under the hood. You love automation and see manual, repetitive tasks as something that should disappear. We'd like to see strong knowledge in: DevOps architecture In this role, business-critical decisions will need to be made, primarily regarding automation, scalability, and security. It's important that you're comfortable sharing your previous experience and technical know-how to speed up the path to the final product. Linux You're comfortable in a Linux environment and have a solid understanding of servers, processes, networking, permissions, and troubleshooting. Bash You can write scripts for automation, deployment, and operations. Python You can use Python to build internal tools and automate workflows. Ansible You have experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated configuration. Docker You understand containers, images, networking, volumes, and how container-based environments work in production. Cloudflare Workers You have experience with—or a strong interest in—building and operating solutions on Cloudflare's edge platform. It's a bonus if you also have experience with things like CI/CD, databases, observability, networking, security, or other aspects of modern web infrastructure. Language Since we work in both Swedish and English, fluent Swedish and English are required, both spoken and written.
