đŒ Responsibilities
As a Demand Planner, you'll be part of the Goods Flow Management (VFS) team at Dagab. The team works with demand and needs planning for Dagab's incoming and outgoing flows, aiming to improve forecast quality and thereby contribute to higher shelf availability, service levels, and efficiency in both stores and warehouses.
You'll work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate closely with other functions within Goods Flow Management and various parts of the group. The role combines operational work and analysis, where you both ensure forecast quality and help develop approaches and processes related to goods flow.
Key responsibilities:
âą Ensure and follow up on forecasts in the SAP UDF (Unified Demand Forecast) tool to optimize order suggestions in Axfood's goods flow processes
âą Handle daily and weekly operational tasks related to forecasts and parameter settings
âą Monitor forecast quality and other goods flow-related key metrics, and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities
âą Compile and analyze data supporting continuous improvement work in forecast and goods flow processes
âą Lead or participate in improvement initiatives related to the forecast process, both internally within the team and in collaboration with other departments
âą Provide support regarding forecasts within Axfood's goods flow processes
đ Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
âą University or college degree in logistics, business, or another relevant field
âą Practical experience in goods flow planning or similar tasks, for example through internships or summer work
âą Excellent proficiency in the Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
âą Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written; basic business English skills

You have the ability to take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward within your areas of responsibility. Furthermore, you have good collaboration and communication skills, which contributes to a good working climate and means you thrive in a role where you collaborate with multiple functions.
