About the Position As a sub-project manager, you will be part of the Main Planning Production section, which is part of the production department. Approximately 25 employees work here within the areas of project management, planning, and business development. The section works cross-functionally with both marine and land-based gun systems as well as ammunition manufacturing. Experience levels vary and you will meet colleagues who are early in their careers as well as specialists with many years of experience and deep technical expertise. You will become part of a dynamic and developmental environment where you will have close collaboration with assembly, procurement, sales, and project teams. Responsibilities and Tasks As a sub-project manager, you are responsible for ensuring that production fulfills its commitments within the set timeframe. You will be involved in the entire chain, from manufacturing documentation to finished product and delivery to the customer. You have broad internal contacts and work closely with assembly, quality managers, and other sub-project managers to ensure the project progresses according to plan. This role also includes coordinating trainings and services. You will, for example: Develop cost estimates for each project's production portion. Ensure quality and coordinate quality issues. Participate in production meetings. Monitor material supply. Coordinate delivery inspections and delivery. Coordinate trainings and services. Since customer requirements are often unique, orders are managed as projects and several projects can run simultaneously. Qualifications Experience in project management. You likely have post-secondary technical education, though this is not decisive as professional experience in the field carries significant weight. Preferably experience with MRP systems. Ability to develop and maintain project plans. Good knowledge of Swedish and the group language English, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of the Office package You thrive working operationally in a production and production-related role. Your strong communication skills enable you to easily build trust with your colleagues and partners. You can work equally well independently or in a group and you are structured and driven in your work. You dare to make decisions, are confident in yourself, and stand behind the decisions you make. From time to time, challenges arise in projects where you play an important role in engaging, creating progress, and where possible, foreseeing and removing upcoming obstacles.
