The HR, Finance and Real Estate Section within the IT department is responsible for driving development and managing the authority's standard applications within these areas, used by both our core operations and our support processes. We now want to expand our expertise in operational management leadership and are seeking an IT Divisional Manager in the finance area, which also encompasses procurement and purchasing.
Job Description
As an IT Divisional Manager in the finance area, you will be part of a group of IT divisional managers who both maintain and further develop system support for various processes. You collaborate with several colleagues within the relevant areas to fulfill the shared assignment. Within the area, initiatives are now being launched, including the implementation of financial systems and e-commerce systems.
In your role as IT Divisional Manager, you participate in multiple projects and coordinate as well as act as project lead within your area and in the execution of operational tasks within IT. You work together with other leaders and business experts within your area and develop plans, both short-term and long-term. You initiate and prioritize activities according to the agreed plan in collaboration with the business and lead operational meetings, both with internal IT representation and with external suppliers. You maintain contact with suppliers regarding operational matters. As an IT Divisional Manager, you create the conditions for support and maintenance, both internally and externally, together with the supplier. You work with continuous documentation, follow up and report status within your area of responsibility. You stay informed of developments within the field through environmental scanning.
Qualifications

Finally, you demonstrate good judgment and have the ability to weigh complex information before you act or make decisions.

We are looking for someone who has:
Academic degree in a relevant field such as computer science, systems science, or other education combined with experience that Kriminalvården considers relevant
Several years of experience working as a divisional/section manager, project lead/task lead, or other coordinating role with a focus on maintenance and further development of systems
Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
Basic knowledge of databases, SQL and integrations
It is also advantageous to have:
Certification in divisional/section management
Certification in ITIL
Leadership training
Experience with governance and collaboration models
Experience in change management
Experience in one or more of the following areas: finance, procurement and purchasing
Experience working with systems that support processes within finance, procurement or purchasing
Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent systems
Strong knowledge of divisional management
Strong knowledge of digitalization and digital transformation
