Latvijas Nacionālais dabas muzejs (Registration No. 90000027926) is hiring a technician Main Job Responsibilities: Ensure installation and maintenance of technological equipment in exhibitions, displays, seminars, and other museum events; Perform equipment diagnostics and troubleshoot problems; Participate in developing and maintaining technological solutions for exhibitions, assess the need for new electronic equipment, and prepare specifications and market research for their procurement; Perform minor electronic equipment repairs and organize equipment repairs when necessary; Ensure the operation of the museum's sound system. Required Skills and Knowledge: Higher or specialized education in IT, computer science, engineering, or related fields, or studies in these areas; Experience working with electronic devices, various equipment, and their repairs. Ability to configure various electronic devices will be considered an advantage. If you possess: Accuracy and ability to concentrate; High sense of responsibility; Ability to plan your work and prioritize tasks; Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; Knowledge of Latvian (at least C1 level) (except for persons who have obtained basic, secondary, or higher education in accredited educational programs in Latvian) and English (at least B1 level) for performing job duties and effective professional development in the field of information and communication technologies.
