JELGAVAS TEHNIKUMS invites applications for a COMPUTER NETWORKS ADMINISTRATOR position Key Responsibilities: · Ensure system operation and information management related to the institution's software and databases, computer equipment, and other IT-related matters. · Configure security systems (firewalls) to ensure computer network security. · Ensure regular database updates and maintenance within the institution. · Consult and train employees on software use and security practices. · Monitor the technical condition of computer equipment and networks at the institution and its departments. · Monitor the institution's databases and server performance. · Install and maintain software on institutional computers. · Collaborate with external IT service providers on network infrastructure improvements and maintenance. · Organize computer classroom testing and monitoring before exams to ensure stable operation and necessary software availability. Requirements: · Higher professional education (can be a final-year student) in an IT-related field. · Precision in performing work duties and high sense of responsibility. · Ability to independently organize your work. · Desired experience working as a computer network administrator or similar position. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
