Our client is looking for a data protection expert with interest in business development. The client is a public sector organization with offices in central Linköping, and this is a permanent position. Your Responsibilities We are seeking a data protection expert who wants to contribute to developing and strengthening the organization's data protection work. You will serve as a strategic and legal resource on matters related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related legislation. You will work closely with business units and their data protection coordinators, provide advice on complex issues, and help translate regulatory requirements into practical and effective working methods. The role also involves conducting training sessions and, when needed, developing and refining governance documents in the data protection field. You will collaborate with the data protection officer and legal professionals, giving you a broad role with many points of contact. You will contribute with a pragmatic perspective and help the business unit find solutions that both comply with regulations and enable development. About You We are looking for someone with relevant higher education or university degree and experience with qualified work on data protection matters. You have strong knowledge of GDPR and related legislation. Experience from the public sector is a merit, as is experience enabling AI solutions in accordance with data protection regulations and knowledge of the AI Act. You communicate very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and can make complex legal matters understandable and practical. As a person, you are consultative, pragmatic, and confident in your professional role. You take your own initiatives, drive issues independently, and work in a structured manner toward clear results. At the same time, you are receptive, have pedagogical skills, and collaborate easily with different business units and professions. We welcome your application!
