Our Operations
Would you like to be part of establishing a function within Region Uppsala's Management Office that is tasked with being Region Uppsala's central expert function and driving force for responsible and value-creating use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)? The mission is to coordinate, develop, adapt, quality assure, and manage AI systems in close collaboration with the region's operations. AI Center will act as an advisory and supportive resource throughout the AI system's life cycle – from need identification to sustainable management – and ensure that AI initiatives support the region's digitalization goals, comply with applicable legislation such as the AI Regulation, and meet the operations' needs in an ethical and sustainable manner.
Your Assignment
As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure required to collect, store, process, and make data accessible for AI systems. You focus on creating efficient and scalable data flows and pipelines that ensure analysis and data needs are met. With support from other roles, you are also responsible for implementing mechanisms for data validation and data quality, among other things. You also manage access controls and ensure that data is handled in accordance with regulations governing the operations based on the AI Center's service catalog.
Your Qualifications
Requirements
• University or college education in IT, systems science, statistics, mathematics, or work experience that the employer deems relevant.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
Meritorious
• Experience working with k8, container architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with systems that make data accessible for AI use.
• Experience in system development that makes Generative AI available to users.
