The Memory Disorders Unit (VE) is a specialist clinic offering evaluation and treatment of memory disorders, suspected dementia, and cognitive impairment in both older and younger patients. Our operations are located in new premises centrally situated at Triangeln in Malmö. We have a well-developed outpatient service with a specialist clinic, mobile outpatient teams, and a memory health unit. Our operations also include a unit for clinical drug trials. We conduct research and teaching with strong clinical connections, which permeates the entire organization. We work closely with primary care, municipalities, and other operational areas within Skåne University Hospital. At the research unit and the Memory Disorders Unit, research is conducted on cognitive diseases. The research is world-leading in Alzheimer's disease. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for two data administrators for our studies where we study and map both Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. We have recently demonstrated in internationally recognized studies that we can diagnose Alzheimer's disease accurately with a simple blood test and also detect the presence of Parkinson's-related pathology through cerebrospinal fluid analysis. In the future, we will continue to build on these and other research advances to remain one of the world's leading research clinics. As a data administrator, you will conduct participant visits with cognitive testing and neurological assessments. Additionally, you will have telephone contact with participants who are enrolled in or interested in participating in our studies. You share responsibility for ensuring that study logistics function properly and work with the respective study coordinator to plan and advance the studies. Your duties also include study administrative tasks such as maintaining registers, data entry, correspondence with participants, and similar work. As a data administrator, you will be involved in and perform tasks across multiple studies, which may change over time depending on where your expertise is needed. Together with other research staff, you will plan your tasks based on the unit's needs and your competence. The unit works in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, biomedical analysts, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and other administrative staff. Among colleagues on the unit, regardless of professional category, there is extensive experience working with and broad knowledge of cognitive diseases. In your work, you will collaborate closely with the various professions and with other units within the organization. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome applicants with relevant higher education and/or university degree. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. You have previous experience working with clinical research studies and interacting with patients with cognitive disease. Experience in administering cognitive tests in a structured manner and experience with study administrative tasks are considered merits. We are looking for someone who can communicate appropriately with people with cognitive disease. In your work, you are thorough and systematic with the ability to prioritize during varying work pace.
