About Lysio Research
At Lysio Research, we conduct surveys and investigations that drive societal development. Our clients include most municipalities in the country as well as several regions and government agencies. The surveys we conduct are varied, often complex, and above all, important. Many decisions made by municipalities, authorities, business leaders, and other stakeholders are based on the results of measurements we have performed.
We are a growing company that has won several Gazelle Awards. Currently, we have 30 employees (plus multiple interviewers). Of course, we offer wellness benefits and occupational pensions for our employees. With us, you'll work in a role where you can grow and develop.
About the Position
Do you love numbers, IT, and societal issues and want to work with us on surveys that drive societal development? We now need to expand our team with a developer. In this role, you will both build infrastructure and create web applications that are used internally by us and as customer-specific solutions. You will also work on customer projects, primarily data processing ("data wrangling") and presenting results in various formats such as PowerPoint/Excel or web-based dashboards.
Lysio Research wants to contribute to societal development by using and promoting open-source software. Therefore, we primarily use open-source software in our development stack. You will have the opportunity and be encouraged to contribute to the software and libraries we use, should you be interested.
At Lysio, we believe that employees should be able to grow within the organization, so this position offers great opportunities to develop and, over time, take on more responsibility for automation and development projects.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with an interest in societal issues, who enjoys surveys and wants to learn more about the methods and tools used in the survey industry.
You have programming as an interest and use it frequently, either in your job or privately.
You thrive with many different tasks simultaneously and working at a high pace. It is crucial that you have the capacity to work toward deadlines, prioritize, be thorough, and work independently.
You should have an academic degree in IT, mathematics, statistics, or another field we consider equivalent. Some university-level statistics education is required.
It is an advantage if you have an interest in visually presenting statistics.
You have recently completed your degree and are at the beginning of your career.
