Tire Shop Manager – Hall 3 MECA Svensk Bilförädling – Högsbo, Gothenburg At MECA Svensk Bilförädling, you get a broad and responsible job in a workshop that is one of Gothenburg's highest-rated (4.8 out of 5). We are currently building a dedicated hall for tires and quick jobs – Hall 3 – and we are looking for someone who wants to lead and develop it. As manager of our tire workshop, you drive and develop Hall 3 – our hall for tires, wheel alignment, balancing, front-end work, and braking systems. You perform the work yourself on our scissor lifts, manage the tire hotel (intake and delivery, organization, and capacity), and maintain a high pace with good quality, especially during tire season. You participate in building up the hall, improve routines, and actively contribute to the workshop's development. You work independently with broad responsibility and in close collaboration with the workshop manager. Start date September 2026, or by agreement. Qualifications You should: • Have experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic with focus on tires, wheel alignment, balancing, front-end work, and braking systems • Be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for your own work area • Have good knowledge of Swedish (customer contact and team leadership) as well as good English • Have at least a Category B driver's license • Have strong organizational skills, quality focus, and customer focus Merits • Experience running or organizing a tire workshop and tire hotel • Experience developing a workshop • Experience with wheel alignment equipment • Team leadership experience • Vehicle technical education at upper secondary or vocational level (e.g., MTG) or mechanic training • Category BE driver's license Employment This is a full-time position, permanent, and a probationary period applies.
