Bilsmidigt is now looking for a meticulous and driven tire technician for our facility in Upplands Väsby. About Bilsmidigt Bilsmidigt is a growing digital car retailer that sells used cars throughout Sweden. Our customers can complete the entire car purchase online and have the car delivered directly to their home. At our facility, several different departments work together to prepare cars for sale and delivery. The work includes testing, workshop operations, tire handling, reconditioning, photography, and logistics. We are now looking for a tire technician who wants to become an important part of our production team. For the right person, there are also good opportunities to develop within the company and eventually work with broader tasks. About the Position As a tire technician, you are responsible for ensuring that our cars have the correct wheels and tires before advertising, sale, and delivery. You work both independently and together with colleagues in the workshop, logistics, and vehicle production. The work is practical and sometimes physically demanding. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work efficiently without compromising on safety, quality, or attention to detail. Your Main Responsibilities Mounting and dismounting wheels and tires on cars and commercial vehicles Tire changes and balancing Tire pressure inspection and adjustment Inspection of tire condition, tread depth, and any damage Simple puncture repairs Cleaning, marking, and organizing wheels Loading, unloading, and moving tires Ensuring the correct wheels are mounted on the correct vehicle Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized Assisting with other tasks in the workshop, logistics, and vehicle production We Are Looking for You If You Are practically inclined and enjoy working with cars Are meticulous, responsible, and safety-conscious Have good physical condition and can handle regular heavy lifting Can work efficiently both independently and with others Have a positive attitude and help out where needed Can work at a high pace during intensive periods Are flexible and willing to learn new tasks Have a Class B driver's license Can communicate in Swedish or English Previous experience with tire mounting, workshop work, or the automotive industry is advantageous but not required.
