About the Company We are your tire shop in Uddevalla with a passion for tires and wheels! Our extensive experience and broad expertise allow us to help you with most things. At Bastionens däckpool, you'll get help with everything related to tires and wheels. In our tire workshop, we service your tires and ensure they work as they should. We also sell tires for motorcycles and passenger cars, among others. You'll also find truck and tractor tires here with us! At our shop, you can also store your tires seasonally—we offer tire storage at a low cost so you don't have to waste storage space at home. Job Description As a tire technician, you will be responsible for changing, balancing, and mounting tires on various vehicles at our customer's location. You will perform basic inspections of tire condition and ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The work also includes using relevant equipment and tools as well as keeping the work area clean and organized. You will contribute to an efficient work process and ensure that the customer's needs and wishes are always met. Qualifications We're looking for someone with basic competence in vehicle mechanics, preferably with secondary education focused on automotive technology. You should have experience with tire changes and vehicle maintenance and possess a valid driver's license. Good physical health and the ability to handle heavy lifting are necessary for the job tasks. The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team is crucial for success in the role of tire technician at Bastionens Däckpartner. It's advantageous if you have previous work experience in tire service or auto shop environments. Knowledge of different tire types and their specific properties is an advantage. Certifications in vehicle maintenance or specialized training in tire technology will be seen as a plus. Experience with customer service and sales in the automotive industry is also valuable, as it demonstrates the ability to build good customer relationships and provide professional advice.
