DACHSER Seeks a Transport Planner for the Export Department in Göteborg

DACHSER Sweden AB is in constant growth and we are now seeking two Transport Planners for our charter department in Göteborg.
The Job
As a Transport Planner at DACHSER, you work with planning and coordinating transports and play an important role in ensuring that our assignments are executed efficiently, correctly, and with high service standards.
The role involves close collaboration with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal functions. An important part of the work is handling both planned and more ad hoc-based transport requests. You are responsible for developing the right transport solution based on the customer's needs while ensuring that costs and revenues are calculated correctly.
Your main work tasks include:
Planning and administration of export, import vehicles and shipments
Handling of transport requests and development of transport solutions
Pricing of charter, special, and ad hoc transports
Sourcing and assessment of transport costs from carriers
Ensuring correct cost estimation
Responsibility for the assignment's total result and profitability
Daily contact with customers, carriers, authorities, and drivers
Customs handling, including preparation of export declarations
Ensuring correct deliveries and pickups
Handling and following up any deviations and customer inquiries
The work also involves assisting with the group's other tasks. You therefore need to be flexible and thrive in a role where the workday can vary depending on customer needs.
The position is permanent at 100% with working hours on weekdays.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic role where customer service is combined with planning, problem-solving, and a business mindset. You are thorough and structured, have a good head for numbers, and enjoy taking responsibility for your tasks from start to finish.
You have an easy time collaborating but can also work independently, prioritize, and take your own initiatives. Since the role involves many contact points, you are communicative, service-oriented, and confident in dealing with both customers and suppliers.
To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:
Previous experience from the transport and logistics industry, preferably within freight forwarding or traffic planning
Experience with customer contact and/or transport planning
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Good computer skills and experience working in various transport and business systems
A business mindset and interest in costs, pricing, and profitability
Experience with customs and clearance processes is a merit.
