Your Next Challenge At Nexer, we're now looking for a Cyber Security Consultant who wants to help our customers develop more structured and long-term security practices. Many organizations face increased requirements for information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. At the same time, security work needs to function in practice and create value for the business. That's why we're looking for you – someone who thrives in the intersection of business, governance, and technology. With us, you'll work on issues such as NIS2, risk assessments, security governance, and maturity development, while also having the technical understanding required to conduct qualified discussions about identity management, Microsoft environments, and infrastructure security. As a consultant with us, you'll become part of a team with high expertise and great commitment. You'll work on varying assignments with different customers where you can combine information security, consulting, and technical understanding. The role suits you if you appreciate diving into new organizations, building relationships, and creating long-term value through structured and sustainable security work. Examples of Assignments You may work with: Conducting risk assessments and security evaluations Supporting customers with NIS2 and other regulatory frameworks Developing governance documents, procedures, and processes Contributing to developing organizations' security maturity Identifying and prioritizing security risks Participating in security reviews and improvement work Acting as an advisor to both business and IT Participating in technical security discussions about, for example, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and network security We Believe You ...enjoy security, but also the consultant role. You like diving into new organizations, building relationships, and helping different customers develop more structured security practices. Whether you come from a technical or business-focused background, you're driven by creating long-term and sustainable solutions together with customers and colleagues. You also have experience in several of the following areas: Information security and cybersecurity Risk assessments and security evaluations NIS2 or other relevant regulatory frameworks Security governance and GRC Development of security procedures and governance documents Security work in Microsoft environments Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or Azure Basic understanding of network and infrastructure security It's a merit if you also have experience with: ISO 27001 or similar standards Microsoft's security platform Security reviews or audits Project management or change management Certifications in information or cybersecurity The role requires that you can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. This is an important requirement for success in customer interactions and team collaboration. Since the role involves consulting assignments with different customers, we also see that you're comfortable working in varying environments. Travel occurs in some assignments, so it's an advantage if you're comfortable with a certain amount of travel. As a Person You're analytical, structured, and have a knack for building trust. You're comfortable translating complex security requirements into practical and usable solutions and have the ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and technical specialists.
