About the Company Teledyne FLIR TransponderTech develops advanced communication and navigation systems for maritime and military use. Their certified products, such as AIS, VDES, and GNSS, enhance safety and efficiency at sea by enabling the sharing of information about vessel position, movements, and speed. The systems are used by commercial shipping, coast guards, and military fleets. Teledyne FLIR TransponderTech is now seeking a consultant to take on the role of Customer Operations & Trade Compliance Specialist for their Supply Chain team. You will become part of a team of approximately 12 employees at their office in Hackefors, Linköping. The office has all the functions required for a small, independent company within a larger organization—from marketing and sales, to product development, production planning, customer support, and logistics. They operate in a commercial market with relatively short sales cycles and are market leaders with a global customer base. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will be a central link between customers, authorities, and transport companies to ensure efficient and regularly compliant deliveries worldwide. Internally, you will function as a hub between sales, procurement, production planning, and inventory. The role involves operational responsibility as well as specialist knowledge in international trade and customs handling. You will also contribute to developing and improving processes and working methods. Focus is on customer order management, logistics, and Trade Compliance. The role is suitable for you if you enjoy working closely with products, driving international business, collaborating with resellers, and taking responsibility for logistics as a whole. You will also participate in the overall planning process within the Supply Chain team and contribute to process development and improvements within your area of responsibility. The assignment includes, among other things: Build and maintain close relationships with customers, both nationally and internationally Manage customer orders throughout the entire order flow, from order receipt to delivery Communicate delivery notices, price lists, order changes, and other customer information Collaborate with sales, procurement, developers, project managers, and production planners in various projects and customer commitments Ensure compliance with applicable customs requirements and internal Trade Compliance processes Coordinate international import and export shipments Handle customs-related documentation and declarations Cooperate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other external parties Your Profile We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys a role combining technical understanding with customer contact. You are organized, thorough, and experienced in handling multiple tasks in parallel. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, and thrive in a role with many points of contact where you work closely with both customers and internal functions in an international environment. We are looking for someone who has: Previous work experience in customer order management, logistics, Supply Chain, or Trade Compliance Experience with international shipments as well as import and export work Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with business systems (preferably Monitor ERP) Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Experience in customs handling, export control, and international trade regulations is considered a merit. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security protection regulations in force at any given time.
