As COO/General Manager Europe, you will have a key role in implementing the company's growth strategy into concrete results. This is not a traditional operational management role. The assignment is about developing the European business, setting strategies, creating conditions for continued growth, and ensuring that the organization has the right structure, leadership, and commercial focus to achieve its goals. You will receive a broad mandate over operations, results, and development and become a central part of the group's continued expansion. The role involves creating direction, momentum, and long-term development in the European operations while ensuring that growth occurs with sustained profitability and delivery capacity. Duties: As COO/General Manager Europe, you are responsible for developing and leading the European operations with a focus on growth, results, and operational development. You will, among other things: • Drive and implement the operations' growth strategy in Europe. • Be responsible for the operations' results, profitability, and business development. • Develop organization, leadership, and working methods for continued expansion. • Ensure that sales, production, design, and finance work toward common goals. • Develop existing markets and create conditions for continued market expansion. • Work closely with the CEO and group management on strategic and business issues. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility where you are expected to contribute experience, create momentum, and convert plans into concrete results. Your Profile We are looking for a business-driven leader with documented experience in developing operations in change and growth with a good understanding of how business, market, production, technology, and finance interact, and who feels confident in making decisions that create long-term value for the operation. The role requires that you have: • Been responsible for creating structure, building organizations, and converting strategic ambitions into business results. You are accustomed to leading through others and have experience combining growth with profitability, control, and long-term thinking. • Experience developing operations through change, growth, and organizational development. • Experience with full business and profit responsibility (P&L). • Experience from international industrial operations. • Experience leading managers or other key personnel. • Ability to combine growth with sustained profitability and business control.
