Controller/Economist We are now seeking a Controller/Economist for the Social Services in Piteå. The Finance Team consists of four employees who are part of the Social Services' Operations Support department. The team works with financial support to the departments and management in the form of monthly follow-ups, analysis, forecasting, budget processes, and financial statements. Together with management, the team develops routines and tools for various financial processes, is responsible for training initiatives, and maintains close collaboration with the administration's managers. Duties As an Economist, you work with compiling and analyzing monthly follow-ups and interim financial statements within the administration, preparing materials and compiling annual budgets, financial statements and forecasts, analyzing and presenting financial results and forecasts to managers. You also have an important role in providing advice and support on financial matters to responsible managers in order to make the best use of the organization's resources. It may also be relevant to present cases in the Social Board. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a university education with a focus on economics. We would like to see that you have worked for several years as an Economist, and it is an advantage if you have worked as an Economist in the public sector or another larger organization. We see that you have good knowledge of the Office package and that you have the ability to learn different business systems. You have an interest in and ability to work in dialogue with the operations.
