Do you want to be part of one of Region Norrbotten's most exciting development projects? We're now looking for a project controller who wants to help create the hospital of the future in Kiruna. The new hospital in Kiruna is a long-term investment in future health and medical care and is planned to be completed in 2031. As a project controller, you will have the opportunity to be involved from an early stage and contribute to ensuring that the project is managed with sound financial governance and monitoring. We are looking for We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and self-driven, and who enjoys taking responsibility and moving work forward. You are communicative, collaborate easily, and can clearly translate financial information into decision-making support. We would like you to have: Higher education or university degree in economics or equivalent education Experience with qualified controller work, financial management, or project monitoring Good knowledge of Excel and experience with financial analysis Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with construction or investment projects, procurement, contracts, change order management, or project management is a plus. What you will work with As a project controller, you are responsible for financial monitoring and analysis in the project and serve as strategic support to project management. You work in close collaboration with the project's financial manager and support them in budget and forecasting work, outcome analysis, and reconciliation against the project's timelines. Your main responsibilities include: Budget, forecast, and financial monitoring as well as outcome analysis Reconciliation of finances against the project's timelines Monitoring and follow-up of change orders and contract terms Calculations, cost estimates, and risk management Review and monitoring of supplier and contractor invoices and supporting documentation Support in procurement work and financial assessments related to procurements Requirement specifications and contract monitoring Early identification of financial deviations and risk areas. You will be an important link between project management, construction management, and finance, and will contribute financial analyses and decision-making support that assist in steering the project. The role will develop as the project progresses, giving you the opportunity to influence both working methods and content. The main work location is Luleå, but other locations within Region Norrbotten can be discussed. Travel is part of the position.
