You'll become part of the Finance Unit – a competent and engaged group of nine people – with an office in our modern municipal building centrally located in Broby, in the heart of "Skåne's Green Heart." Commuting is convenient with multiple bus departures every hour. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a controller, you'll have a central role in the municipality's financial management. You'll work closely with managers within the Health and Care operational area and participate in the management group. Together, you'll contribute to well-founded financial decisions and stable, sustainable management. The Health and Care operational area consists of several different operations with varying assignments and needs. As a controller, you'll provide managers with qualified, educational, and operationally-focused support in budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting work. You'll collaborate with managers who have different levels of financial experience, so you need the ability to tailor your support based on their different circumstances. Your main responsibilities: • Provide the operations with qualified financial support through analysis, advice, and reporting. • Support managers within the Health and Care operational area in budget work, financial monitoring, and forecasting work. • Contribute analysis and decision-making materials to the management group and participate in strategic work. • Participate in and drive the development of financial processes, procedures, and working methods together with the Finance Unit. QUALIFICATIONS You as an applicant have: • An academic degree in economics or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. • At least two years of experience as a controller or from another qualified financial function within municipal or other public operations. • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Driver's license (Category B) Meritorious qualifications It is meritorious if you have experience as a controller with a connection to care operations. You thrive in a role with both strategic and operational elements and are motivated by working close to operations. You are solution-oriented, analytical, structured, and communicative, with an ability to make finance understandable and useful for others. You build good relationships, create trust, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. We believe you appreciate pace, variety, and a workday where multiple issues are being handled simultaneously. You're attentive to operational needs, take an active role in your assignment, and contribute proactively with financial guidance.
