We're seeking a self-directed and proactive controller who wants to help shape the future of financial support within the Hässelby-Vällingby District Administration. Our Finance and Procurement Unit is located directly under the district director and works to provide professional and unified operational support to our activities. We're responsible for the administration's accounting and financial statements, and we support operations in their budget and forecast work. We also provide support and services on financial matters.

Your role
As a controller, you'll work with one or more of our operational areas. You'll serve as a guiding and supportive resource for managers who have budget responsibility for their operations.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Supporting managers in budget and forecast work
• Developing financial analyses
• Contributing to the preparation of monthly forecasts and quarterly reports
• Participating in budget and financial statement work
• Conducting targeted training for managers, for example in the budget and planning tool Hypergene
You'll be part of an engaged and competent team consisting of six controllers, an accounting manager, a procurement officer, and you'll report directly to our finance manager.
Your competence and experience
We're looking for someone with:
• A university degree in economics or finance
• Several years of experience as a controller
• Very strong Excel skills
• Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
It's a merit if you have:
• Experience with Agresso or similar accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of accounting
• Experience driving or participating in improvement work or projects
• Previous experience as a controller within Stockholm City
• Previous experience working with operational areas similar to those within the district administration
