Earlier this year, we strengthened the agency's capacity to combat benefit fraud by establishing a new department, the Benefit Fraud Division, where we bring together the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's expertise, knowledge, and capacity in this area. The division has unified responsibility for agency-wide work to prevent and counter benefit fraud, from operational to strategic levels. This means the division plays a crucial role in the agency's efforts against benefit fraud and contributes to development within the field, both within the agency and externally. We are seeking a controller for the Benefit Fraud Division's staff. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to and develop the leadership of an operation with an important societal mission. Analyses, Management Support, and Development Work The staff should create conditions for effective governance and management of the division. The staff should contribute to developing the division's operations, coordinate and drive division-wide or agency-wide projects, and provide advisory support to the division manager and division leadership, in both strategic and day-to-day work. The staff's task is to unite the division into a cohesive operation with common goals and a clear strategy. At this stage, we need to strengthen our capacity for production control of our operations and our ability to conduct various analyses regarding the impact of our mission. In your role as controller, you are primarily responsible for coordinated work around the division's production control. You are responsible for developing and maintaining the processes and forms for this in line with the technology shift currently taking place within the agency to SAS Viya and the opportunities that access to data provides for better understanding our operations. You are also an important part of supporting the staff's other controller with financial monitoring and other planning. You also actively contribute to continuously developing operations together with other controllers within the division and with other parts of the staff. Beyond focusing on your own division, you always maintain the entire agency's perspective and work collaboratively with colleagues in other divisions. You report directly to the head of the division's staff. This position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that someone working with us has strong security awareness. It's a job for someone who wants to take responsibility.
