ABOUT THE ROLE As a Compliance Officer, you will be part of the bank's Compliance function, working broadly to monitor, review, and support the organization's regulatory compliance to create a sustainable long-term business. Your responsibilities will include: Providing qualified advisory and support to the business on regulatory and compliance matters, Conducting compliance reviews, Contributing to annual risk assessments and annual planning, Participating in quarterly reports, Participating in the NPAP process, Developing and reviewing governance documents, Participating in projects as deemed necessary and relevant, Monitoring regulatory developments relevant to the licensed activities, Developing and leading training for company employees. You will work closely with the business and are expected to develop a strong understanding of the bank's operations, opportunities, challenges, and risks. The work is performed both independently and together with other team members in the Compliance department or in collaboration with other functions within the bank. The role also includes Nordic contacts through the bank's offices in Norway and Finland. The position is located in Stockholm or Gothenburg and is a permanent employment with a probationary period. ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone with a law degree (Jur.kand./Juristexamen) or equivalent academic qualification and at least 3–5 years of relevant work experience in the field and the financial sector. To succeed in this role, you have strong commitment, interest, and prior experience with regulatory compliance matters. It's an advantage if you have previous experience working in a compliance function.
