Commerce Solutions Specialist
E-commerce Recruit Nordic AB · plný úvazek
Boulevard 40, Göteborg, Švédsko
Codeunit is a rapidly growing and profitable SaaS company building the technical infrastructure behind modern commerce. Their platform connects the systems that make data, orders, inventory, product information, and customer flows work together. Their customers are well-known retail companies with complex digital environments across Sweden, Europe, and the USA. Codeunit has experienced strong growth in recent years, and to meet the expanding customer base, they are now seeking a Commerce Solutions Specialist who will take end-to-end responsibility for customers. From implementation to long-term development, this is a broad and customer-focused role ensuring that business, processes, and systems work together seamlessly. This is a role with significant variety and clear accountability within a team with short decision-making cycles. Here you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of modern commerce operations while having substantial opportunities to shape the direction forward. About the Role As a Commerce Solutions Specialist, you'll be the bridge between the customer's operations, their various systems, and Codeunit's platform. When a new customer signs on, you'll gradually assume full responsibility. You'll understand what the customer wants to achieve, learn how their systems and processes interconnect, and ensure implementation moves forward smoothly. This involves customer meetings, coordination, and hands-on work configuring and setting up Codeunit's solution. Once the customer goes live, the relationship continues. New needs emerge, operations evolve, and new systems or workflows may need to be integrated. You'll become the natural point of contact who understands the customer's environment and helps them take the next step. You'll primarily: Drive implementation and onboarding of new customers Immerse yourself in the customer's operations, processes, and system landscape Configure and set up solutions in Codeunit's platform Coordinate issues between the customer, Codeunit, and other system vendors Troubleshoot and escalate issues that need resolution Foster and develop existing customer relationships Identify new customer needs and opportunities Engage developers or colleagues when deeper technical expertise is required During your first months, you'll work closely with colleagues and founders to learn the platform, common customer processes, and how Codeunit manages implementations. You'll observe customer conversations, work hands-on in the systems, and gradually begin leading your own meetings and managing your own issues. As you become more confident, your responsibilities will grow and you'll become increasingly independent. Your Background We believe you've worked in or near e-commerce, retail, or digital commerce and have developed an understanding of the processes and systems behind modern retail operations. You might come from a retail company, an e-commerce platform, a SaaS company, or another technology vendor where you've worked closely with customers and digital workflows. Your exact title or specific system experience matters less—your understanding of the bigger picture is what matters most. We believe you have: Experience in e-commerce, retail, digital commerce, or related system environments Understanding of how different systems and processes in retail operations fit together Customer contact experience and the ability to build trust A clear interest in technology and ease learning new systems The ability to organize your own work and drive issues forward Capability to manage multiple customers and activities simultaneously It's valuable if you've worked with Business Central, Shopify, PIM, OMS, WMS, integrations, or APIs, but the most important thing is that you understand the processes and can navigate a broader commerce landscape. As a person, you're curious and solution-oriented. You want to understand why a customer wants to do something, not just what they're asking for. You take ownership even when the path forward isn't entirely clear, and you're comfortable asking questions, investigating, and experimenting when facing a new system or problem. You're confident in professional communication in both Swedish and English. Why Codeunit? This is an opportunity to develop an unusually broad expertise in commerce. You'll work with many different retail companies, processes, and systems, gaining insight into what actually happens behind the scenes in modern retail operations. Meanwhile, your day-to-day work will be highly varied. Codeunit is at an exciting stage of strong growth while maintaining a size that allows real influence. The organization is developing, new customer needs are emerging, and the product continues to expand. The role has clear objectives from day one, but there's also room to gradually shape which responsibilities you want to grow into. Location and Process Codeunit prefers that you're based in Gothenburg, where the company has an office, but is open to other arrangements for the right person. Malmö is also a possible location. Customer interactions are conducted primarily digitally, and you'll work with both Swedish and international customers. Recruitment is handled by E-commerce Recruit with ongoing selection. The process includes interviews plus tests and reference checks in the final stage. If you have questions about the role, please don't hesitate to contact the responsible recruiter at [email protected]. If this description sounds like you and you want to be part of Codeunit's next chapter? Send your application as soon as possible.
